The Mexican bass, Ricardo Bojórquez Martínez, studied at Escuela Secundaria Diurna 124 in Mexico , graduating in 2007; at Facultad de Música FaM UNAM; and at Unam CCH Plantel Naucalpan in Mexico, graduating in 2011. Since 2013, he studies at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna; MDW) with University Professor Rainer Trost, among others.
Ricardo Bojórquez Martínez already perform as a soloist in opera and concert. In March 2015, he sang the role of Judas in J.S. Bach's Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) with Cappella Nova Graz, Domkantorei St. Pölten and L'Orfeo Barockorchester, conducted by Otto Kargl. In May 2016, he sang J.S. Bach's Missa brevis in G minor, BWV 235 and Cantata Christ lag in Todesbanden, BWV 4 with Domkantorei St. Pölten and Cappella Nova Strumentale, conducted by Otto Kargl, both at Cathedral of St. Pölten. In April 2017, he sang the role of Der Amtmann in Jules Massenet's opera Werther in production of Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. In summer 2017, he sang the role of Masetto in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni in production of Studio 54 at Schloss Rothschild. |
