The Pagauaian soprano, Jessica Bogado Corvalán, began he singing studied early. She studied at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música, and obtained there titles of teacher of music theory, popular guitar, and where she continues as singing teacher.
Jessica Bogado has performed both secondary and leading roles as an ensemble member of the Paraguay opera La Opera de la Universidad del Norte, including Zerlina in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni and Poppea in The Coronation of Poppea by Monteverdi, in her first audition in Paraguay in April 2010, at the Teatro Municipal de Asunción, under the VII Festival Internacional de Música Barroca de Asunción.
Jessica Bogado has taken voice lessons with Professor tenor Miguel Coronel, Argentinean counter-tenor Martin Oro, Teresa Berganza, Barbara Kusa in Paris and interpretation of Baroque music with Monique Zanetti, in Aix en Provence-France. She has made national and international tours with the Coro Bach de Asunción and ensemble Paraguay Barroco, singing under the baton of conductors as Gabriel Garrido, Diego Sánchez Haase, among others. Currently, she is a member of the singing Grupo Paraguay Rory, music and dance In 2014, she joined MAIA jazz & rock. |
