The American baritone, Elijah Blaisdell, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Central Washington University (2008-2012); his Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory (2012-2014).
An early and new music specialist, Elijah Blaisdell performs with ensembles across the country as both a soloist and chorister. He is the featured soloist on the 2019 Grammy Award winning album "Zealot Canticles" with The Crossing. Additional season highlights include performances of the new choral-theater work Aniara with The Crossing in Philadelphia, and at the Haarlem Choral Biennale and The Helsinki National Opera, The Adams Fellowship with The Carmel Bach Festival (2017), J.S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244) with Bach Society of St. Louis (2018), Milhaud’s Service Sacré with St. George’s Choral Society (2019), and J.S. Bach's Coffee Cantata (BWV 211) and H. Purcell's Dido and Aeneas (2018) with Madison Bach Musicians. He also performs with The Sante Fe Desert Chorale (since 2017), Grammy-nominated Ensemble True Concord (since 2016), and the Grammy Award-winning Seraphic Fire, and this season joins the Saint Thomas Choir of Men & Boys (since 2019).
Elijah Blaisdell also obtained Certificate as Full Stack Web Development from University of Washington (2020), and works as Software Enginner since 2021. He currently lives in New York City. |
