The German soprano ans singing teacher, Anja Bittner, was born in Hameln, where she received her first flute, piano and theory lessons. After graduation in 1990, she completed degrees in nmusic education and geography in Essen and Mainz, where she graduated in 1996 with the first state examination. Her vocal training then led her to the Musikhochschule in Freiburg with J. Favaro and Professor M. Goritzki (completion 2000), also attended the local opera school under the direction of Professor G. Heinz and completed her studies by attending master-classes, with Barbara Schlick and others.
Anja Bittner is dedicated to solo work in the areas of Lieder and oratorio and to ensemble singing, such as under the direction of Frieder Bernius, Philippe Herreweghe and Thomas Hengelbrock and has already taken part in numerous radio, recorded music and television.
In addition to the artistic work, Anja Bittner has worked for several years as a singing teacher at the Musikschule Achern-Oberkirch, as a vocal coach (including the Freiburger Bachchor) and as a choir director. The preparation of young singer / interior on the vocal studies and course management as vocal coach at AMJ are also among their duties as the elaboration of concert programs with young ensembles of the music school and its choir.
Since the summer semester 2007 she is a teacher for singing at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg. |
