The Brazilian baritone, Cláudio de Biaggi, began his studies in the Coro da UFPR, with conductor Alvaro Nadolny and pianist Karina Ferrer Gineste da Silva. He has participated in workshops and regular courses with Neyde Thomas, Maria Cristina Kiehr, Luisa Giannini, Alessandro Sangiorgi and bass Carlo Colombara.
Cláudio de Biaggi has been a soloist in works such as Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, K. Szymanowski's Requiem, Dietrich Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri, C. Orff's Carmina Burana, L.v. Beethoven's Missa Solemnis and Symphony No. 9, and J. Haydn's Die Schöpfung. His resume includes operas: Carlos Gomes' Fosca, W.A. Mozart's Cosí fan Tutte, G. Puccini's Gianni Schicchi and La Boheme, G. Verdi's La Traviata, Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado, B. Martinu's Mirandolina and Comedy on the Bridge and Sideria (first opera from Paraná) composed by Augusto Stresser. He regularly presents chamber music concerts with works by composers such as Schubert, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Dvorak. |
