The Danish coloratura soprano, performing artist and vocal coach, Carrie Becker Greinert, studied Classical Singing and Vocal Pedagogy at Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium, obtaining Music Teache diploma (2003-2007); Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium, obtaing Diploma in Classical Singing and Advanced Vocal Pedagogy with Thesis on Music Communication in Singing (2007-2008); and opera Singing at Dansk Skuespillerforbund (2009-2012).
Carrie Becker is an independent singer and soloist as coloratura soprano since August 2005, singing classical and contemporary opera, oratorio and concert. She has been a member of Danmarks Radio Concert Singers (since March 2009); has sung Chamber music - Songs from the early 19th century with Guldalderkoncert (Golden Days - Golden Music) in co-operation with Duo Historico (since March 2009); and has been a member of DR Ensembler (since August 2011), including Zerbinettas monolog (first version). She also sings with Copenhagen Soloists (Director: Jonathan Ofir).
In addition to singing, Carrie Becker is active as a reporter, journalist and actor. She has been Performing Artist with Music Theatrical Improvisation 3-30' in Flash Opera (since August 2012). She currently lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. |
