The English soprano, Charlotte Beament, studied music at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama under the tutelage of Susan McCulloch. She graduated with first-class honours in 2010.
Charlotte Beament has since performed roles for Glyndebourne Opera Company, has toured extensively and recorded with The Gabrieli Consort (Director: Paul McCreesh), Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and The Sixteen (Director: Harry Christophers). Her recent operatic roles for Glyndebourne include La Priestess in Hippolyte et Aricie and Eve in Fairy Queen. Concert performances include Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 and Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder (Watford Symphony Orchestra). She is also a passionate recitalist and particularly enjoys performing German Lieder. |
