The Barazilian bass-baritone, Ricardo Barpp, began his singing studies with the soprano Adriana Zignani. He graduated in singing from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Porto Alegre.
Ricardo Barpp has performed with various orchestras and chamber groups in Brazil. In 2001 he participated in the recording and performance of children's opera A Boiúna by Walter Schültz Portoalegre, with Orquestra Sinfônica de Porto Alegre (OSPA), under the baton of Ion Bressan. In 2003 he was a finalist for the VI Brazilian Singing Competition Maria Callas (Concurso Brasileiro de Canto Maria Callas) in São Paulo. Currently, HE develops his teaching activity, including as Professor of vocal technique Coro Sinfônico da Orquestra Sinfônica de Porto Alegre. |
