The French soprano, Caroline Bardot [Dangin-Bardot; Bardot-Dangin], obtained the prize for lyrical singing at the training center of Jeune Chœur de Paris (Laurence Equilbey). In 2005, she enrolled at the Chant Musique du CNSMD de Lyon, where she is currently pursuing her final year of studies. She recently participated in two training sessions, the workshop Philidor (François Bazola) and the Académie d’Ambronay (Jean Tubéry).
Caroline Bardot performs regularly as a soloist and in various ensembles such as La Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy (Director: Jean-Claude Malgoire), Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon), Correspondance (Director: Emmanuel Mandrin), L'Ensemble Baroque de Levallois (Director: Jacques-Antoine Bresch), La Camera delle Lacrime (Director: Bruno Bonhoure). With tghe latter ensdemble she recorded in 2007 the album "Noëls Baroques en Pays d’Oc" (Alpha Production).
Fascinated by the rediscovery of Baroque theater, Caroline Bardot trained with Eugène Green and Jean-Denis Monory, actor with whom she has recently developed a show of text and 17th century court airs, gestués. In addition, in 2005 she founded the vocal quartet Les Voix Imaginaires, with which she explores and performs romantic and contemporary a cappella repertoires. The ensemble participated in 2006 in the recording of the album of the composer Olivier Mellano, "La Chair des Anges" (Naïve). In 2008, she sang on the stage of the Opéra de Rennes with Thierry Escaich and Olivier Mellano, in the piece Dead sparkling stars composed by the latter.
Along with her concert career, Caroline Bardot has the pleasure of teaching vocal technique, musical training and Baroque singing at the Conservatoire de Levallois. She also directs the Ensemble Vocal de la Bibliothèque Nationale de France since 2003. |
