The Chilean soprano, Denise Araneda, graduated in music education at the University of Concepcion. In her recent university years she discovered his passion for singing, and studied with soprano Monica Barra. In 1997 she won a scholarship to the corporation "Amici del Teatro Municipale di Santiago". In 1998 she won a second scholarship, this time to continue her singing studies in Italy at the l’Accademia Internazionale della Musica di Milano. Since 1999, she was a student of Maestro Vincenzo Manno.
Denise Araneda has given concerts and recitals in Chile and in Italian cities where she performed chamber music mostly Italian, Spanish and, especially, Latin America presenting a great sensitivity and expressiveness in her performances. Her concert repertoire include works as Magnificat by Antonio Caldara, D. Cimarosa and (Jan Dismas Zelenka, Piccola Messa Solennelle by G. Farina; Petite Messe Solennelle by G . Rossini, A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten; Kleine Orgelsolomesse and Jujendmesse by F.J. Haydn; Cantata BWV 140 and Magnificat (BWV 243) by J.S, Bach, Nulla in mundo pax sincera and Gloria by (Antonio Vivaldi); Coronation Mass and Vesperae solemnes de confessor by W.A. Mozart; Exultet by F. Manenti, Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, Choral Fantasy by L.v. Beethovenn, the latter under the guidance of Maestro Aldo Ceccato at the Teatro dal Verme; Lauda Sion by Felix Mendelssohn; Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 by Heitor Villa-Lobos and Stabat Mater by Rossini .
Denise Araneda made her operatic debut as Euridice Oefeo ed Euridice by C.W. Gluck produced by As.Li.Co (Lyric Circuit Lombardo), again for the As. Li.Co she did the role of Countess for Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart. Other roles she has performed are Micaela in Carmen by Georges Bizet, Ninette in the opera The Love of Three Oranges by S. Prokofiev, Serpina in Serva Padrona by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Berta in Barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini.
