The Paraguaian soprano, Alba Alvarez, studied at the Universidad Católica de Encarnación, Paraguay, and obtained there diplomas in Education, Senior Lecturer singing, piano and music theory, singing, piano, musical language, musical theater, opera.
Alba Alvarez is active as a lyric soprano in opera and concerts. She is singing, piano and music theory teacher at Conservatorio Amadeus - Universidad Nacional de Itapúa and Director of Taller de Ópera Amadeus Lírica de Encarnación (Amadeus Lyric Opera Workshop Encarnación). Based in the prestigious Amadeus Conservatory of this city, this initiative is coordinated by Alba Alvarez direct collaboration with the artistic direction of Fronteras Musicales Abiertas. In just two years of school has become a benchmark in the region for high-level vocal training, students receive Paraguayans, Argentines and Brazilians. Apart from regular training activities, the School of Classical Singing and Musical Arts Open Borders Scenic regularly organizes seminars and intensive labs topic, attracting students from across the region. Currently a selection of 12 young singers studying in this institution, thanks to scholarships funded by FMA. |
